Each year I share with you my favourite products that I’ve continuously used throughout the year, but in all honesty not much has changed in the way of my go-to products since 2014. Rather than writing a long, repetitive list I’ve instead decided to share a combination of different products I’ve tried this year that I feel are incredible and worthy of being classed as some of the best products I’ve tried. Trilogy Make-up Be Gone Cleansing Balm
Although I only started using this towards the end of 2015 it deserves a special place on this list. Easily one of the best skincare products/cleansers I’ve ever tried this natural cleansing balm removes every trace of waterproof makeup, dirt and oil without stinging, irritation or excessive greasiness.
Go-To Face Hero
Although a relativity new skincare line, Go-To has been a staple in my beauty routine since it launched last year and I can’t see that changing any time soon. “Face Hero” is one of the best skincare serums/oils/super products my skin has ever been lucky enough to try. This product immediately hydrates, plumps and smooths the skin leaving it dewy and smooth.
MAC Pro-Longwear Concealer
This product has a lot of hype so I had my reservations when it came to trying it (so much that I only decided to give it a go early this year) but I don’t regret it. If you’re after incredible long wearing coverage then this is the product you need in your makeup bag. Full Review Illamasqua Gel Sculpt - Silhouette
Another product that I only tried towards the middle/end of this year but, easily one of the best. Extremely under-hyped this sheer, gel-like contour stick gives the most natural looking, cool toned contour you’ll ever see. Full Review Kat Von D Shade + Light Eye Palette
A discovery that occurred early in 2015, I haven’t been able to put this product down all year. It’s simple and to the naked eye, doesn’t look like anything special (you won’t find any bright pearly shades or glitter in this palette) However, this palette is practical, oh so practical. It doesn’t matter what look I’m doing, I always find a use for this palette in my routine. There’s so many different neutral looks you can create with this palette, and *gasp* I find myself using it more than the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. Full Review Stila Stay All Day Brow Gel
Que *my favourite eyebrow product ever* Some people hate this product and other people simply just don’t give it the time of day but this tinted brow cream is my all-time favourite brow product. The texture turns a little dry once you squeeze out the product which means you can create super natural, feather like brow strokes. Full Review Ciate Precious Metal Eyeshadows
Ciate are famous for their nail polishes, but very few people know of their makeup line. The Ciate Precious Metal Eyeshadows aren’t a very well known product but I love them either way. Used dry these loose, shimmering eyeshadows give a gorgeous sheer sheen to the eyelids but used wet they look like pure liquid gold/rose gold/bronze on the eyes. Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer
Everyone has been into matte lips this year but I’m still a sucker for anything glossy. Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer’s are incredible long wearing, high pigment glosses that leave a stain on the lips and feel super comfortable. (I’ve never rubbed my lips together so much whilst wearing a product, and they don’t budge!) Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons
This year, Burt’s Bees got nude. Well not technically but they did create the best nude lipstick I’ve ever found and one of the very few that works on my fair skintone. The semi-matte high pigment formula make them a winner in my book and the other shades in the range aren’t bad either. Those of us with stubby, stick-straight, or super-thin lashes consider lash extensions the best beauty invention since, well, mascara. The perfect option for those too impatient for Latisse , or too busy conquering the world to carefully swipe on three coats of mascara every morning, an hour-long session with a lash extension specialist will leave you with full, fluttery, sky-scraping lashes (or more a more natural-looking effect, depending on what you prefer). She recommends alwa...

The following step-by-step for applying eyelash extensions was provided by NovaLash EyeLash Extensions. Step 1. Apply under-eye stickers When applying under eye stickers/gel patches, you should avoid placing the sticker too close to the eye. The sticker should be placed over the lower lashes, about 3-4 millimeters from the lower lash line. Check lids from below to ensure upper and lower lids form a seal with no gaps. Step 2. Choose extensions Always use at least three different lengths of extensions that range from 6 mm to 14 mm in length. It is best to use 8 mm lash extensions in the inner corners of the eye to avoid avoid an artificial clownlike look. It is also important to use 8 mm extensions all across the eye, between the longer extensions to create a thick lash line. Failure to mix in short extensions results in empty gaps that make the long extensions look similar to spider legs. For a dramatic look, opt for the thickest (0.25mm) curly extensions. Finer extensions cr...
